Share the Warmth

We’re living in a time where more and more families are living in poverty. House holds that were once thriving are now scraping by just to make ends meet. Now that December is here, which for a lot of us, has brought coat like temperatures. No one should be without a coat. Re-access your, or your family’s coat inventory and for those coats that are (still in good condition) not in heavy rotation, share the warmth at your local coat drive. Often times when we think of those that are coat-less, an image of a homeless man comes to mind, but the reality is, homeless shelter houses many families affected by unforeseen circumstances. If you’re like me and don’t have a coat to donate, let’s make a pact to purchase some coats from our local thrift store, and let’s share the warmth, together.
