Pen Dipping

by

a0130-000129Just the other day while listening to NPR, they reported a new survey which revealed that 40% of all new relationships are in the work place.  And as the saying goes “don’t dip your pin in company ink” has more cons than pros.

When you think about it, we spend the majority of our work days with collegues and some believe that while you’re better aquainting yourself with that attractive co-worker, it’s easier to get to know her without having an official date. But lets face it, when things are moving well, it’s swell. On the other hand, when there’s trouble in paradise, you’ve now brought your personal feelings into the work place.

The study, to me,  reveals that we’ve gotten accoustomed to social media, online dating, and the convience of dating in the workplace is rapidly replacing the traditional way of dating.

I presume that the 60% that have choosen not to date in the work-place are adhering to the etiquette of “dont dip your pin in company ink.”
